Limited<\/span> Access Eight, Festival For Moving Images, Sound And Performance | July 26 \u2013 August 2, 2019<\/span><\/p>

Limited<\/span> Access 8 Is Organized By Parkingallery Projects<\/a> In Collaboration With Aaran Art Gallery<\/a>, Tamaas Foundation<\/a>. Mooweex And New Media Society<\/a> In Partnership With Tirafkan Foundation<\/a>, Platform 3<\/a>, Markof Studio<\/a>\u00a0 & Bidar Institute<\/a>. <\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

Parkingallery Projects founded Limited Access festival in 2007. Parkingallery Projects was <\/span>a small project space in Tehran which started an independent festival for video, sound, and performance. Since then, Limited Access has been featuring many prominent and emerging artists from Iran and across the world. <\/span>In most of the previous editions of the festival, an open call is being for video and sound pieces were published prior to the event, as well as a call for proposals for audiovisual and performance projects.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

In addition, the festival presented guest-curated international programs and offered an archive section which provided a moment to look back in the history of moving images\/video, experimental films and extract practical material the parallel educational programs.\u00a0<\/span>Since the beginning, the festival has collaborated with various institutions and explored archives in Berlin, Stockholm, Helsinki, Cairo, Ljubljana, Paris, Toronto, San Francisco, Vienna, Montreal, Brussels, The Hague, Dublin, etc to fulfill its mission: that is to reduce the gap between the artistic fields and promote interdisciplinary approaches and practices.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The main section of this year\u2019s festival follows the tradition with the program \u201cLimited Access Forum\u201d, a section selected from responses to the open call for sound & video pieces plus a dedicated part to forgotten gems from Parking video Library.\u00a0<\/span>Limited Access Festival also has the pleasure to have distinguished guest curators,<\/span>To name a few: Tasja Langenbach, <\/span>Faraz Anoushehpour, Nebras Hoveizavi, Minou Iranpour, Amirali Ghasemi & Arash Khakpour and collectives like Noise A Noise & animation experiments.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
