A stunning sight at the city, that managed to vanished from the map.
See the bright lights that illuminate the wonderful white sand that hosted once upon a time one of the first international beach resorts. Well known for it’s modern standards, Famagusta was a number one choice for many a family vacation to enjoy the sun and sea within a reasonable travelling distance.
After the war 30,000 people were evacuated and since the early 70’s the city is abandoned. These days there is no trespassing unless one is an UN soldier and willing to protect the green line.

The middle east, an explosive mixture of past and future. The wall is still under construction. An ongoing struggle of the possession for the ‘holy land’ which has always been of great interest not only for the people living with it.

دورنمای خیره‌کننده ای از شهر که در حال محو شدن از نقشه است.
به نور درخشانی که ماسه‌های سفید زیبایی را که زمانی میزبان اولین اقامتگاه ساحلی بین‌المللی بودند نگاه کنید. فاماگوستا به دلیل قالب مدرن، بهترین انتخاب برای بیشتر کسانی بود که قصد داشتند در سفرهای خانوادگی از آفتاب و دریا در فاصله‌ای مناسب لذت ببرند.
بعد از جنگ ۳۰۰۰۰ تن شهر را ترک کردند و از اوایل دهه‌ی ۷۰ شهر متروکه شد. این روزها جز سربازان سازمان‌ملل برای محافظت از مرزهای مناطق بی‌طرف هیچ رفت و آمدی در آن صورت نمی‌گیرد.

شهری که در آن شور با ابعاد رشد می‌کند، که صلح نمی‌تواند آسیب‌پذیر شود و مذهب بر گرده همه سنگینی می‌کند. جایی که خانواده، دوستان و رفقا باید در کنار و برای هم بایستند. به خیابان‌ها با چهره رنگارنگ‌شان نگاه کنید، آواز بخوانید و از جادوی آتش لذت ببرید.
پس از صلح در اواخر دهه‌ی ۹۰ تقسیم شهر بلفاست در دستور کار قرار گرفت. هرچه دیوار بلندتر بلندتر باشد، صلح پایدارتر خواهد بود.

ببینید که محبت چگونه انسان‌ها را دستخوش حرکت می‌کند. از میان باقی‌مانده‌‌ی زادگاه خدایان گذر کنید. این که عشق چگونه با اعتقاد واقعی ترکیب می‌شود و زندگی به معنی اصلی خود می‌گذرد. خاور‌میانه، مخلوط منفجرشونده‌ای از حال و آینده. این دیوار همچنان در حال ساخت است. کوششی مداوم برای مالکیت «سرزمین مقدس» که همواره، حتی برای کسانی که در آن زندگی نمی‌کنند از علاقه‌ی وافری برخوردار بوده‌است.
