Field Recording Workshop

Tehran, Esfehan

This workshop after taking place in Isfahan will be repeated in Tehran with a new group of participants.
Isfahan: Sunday 21- Monday 22 Feb in the city and at Aknoon Gallery – Isfahan
The workshop will be fallowed by a short sound performance by Motabar – Roessler Duo and a panel discussion on Sound.
Tehran: Wednesday 24- Thursday 25 Feb at New Media Projects.
First Session – Equipment and Soundwalk
Second Session – Software and Processing Techniques
Required Materials: Headphones, Field Recorder (Zoom H4 if possible), additional microphone for multichannel recording optional, computer with Audacity
At the end of the workshop each student presents his/her piece with a short explanation of how he or she worked with the sound.
