Tannaz N. Daneshmand (b.1983,Tehran) is an architect and a visual artist. Her main focus is on resolving the issues regarding Tehran’s architectural and urban planning. With the same purpose, she uses her knowledge of Iranian traditional architectural details and sustainable solutions in her designs and has designed a few buildings in Tehran, Ramsar and Damavand and has won a couple of international architectural competitions.
Considering the presence of visual arts in architecture, she has been practicing visual arts along with architecture and has taken part in a few of group exhibitions.She is a member of ‘New Media Society’ which is dedicated to archiving and knowledge production about New Media Arts.

طناز دانشمند، متولد ١٣٦٢در تهران، معمار و هنرمند تجسمی فارغ‌التحصيل رشته‌ی معمارى از دانشگاه آزاد تهران‌‌ مركز است. تمركز او بر حل معضلات معمارى و شهرسازى شهر تهران است. او به این منظور از دانسته‌های خود درباره‌ی مؤلفه‌های معمارى سنتى ايران و همچنین از راه‌حل‌هاى ‍پایدار آن در طراحى‌های خود استفاده مى‌كند. او همچنین طراحی تعدادی ساختمان را در شهرهای تهران، رامسر و دماوند به انجام رسانده است و طرح‌هایش در مسابقات بین‌المللی طراحی معمارى برنده‌ی جوایزی چند شده است.
وی به موازات فعالیت معماری به نقاشی و طراحی نیز مشغول است و آثارش را در چندین نمایشگاه گروهی به نمایش درآورده است. دانشمند از اعضای «جامعه‌ی نیو مدیا» است، انجمنی که برای آرشیو و تولید محتوی در زمینه‌ی رسانه‌های نو تلاش می‌کند.
